Born in Kenosha on July 25, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Julia (Tenuta) Covelli. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. Patricia was employed by Walmart for the last 15 years where she loved meeting new and old friends. She attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards, gardening and cooking, especially Italian food. Survivors include her three sons, Donny Foltz of Arkdale, WI, Joe (Stacy) Foltz of Bristol, WI, and Greg (Annette) Foltz of Wadsworth, IL; two brothers, Bennie (Eleanor) Covelli of Kenosha and Kenneth Covelli of Texas; and four grandchildren, Joshua Foltz, Nadia Foltz, Jordan Foltz and Gena Foltz. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jennie Schmickel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of one’s choice in Patricia’s memory would be appreciated by the family. Born in Kenosha on June 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Willems) Huck. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, and educated in local schools. On January 8, 1944, in Kenosha, she married Henry J. Richie. He passed away April 27, 1990. A member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and AARP, Pearl enjoyed her family and grandchildren, shopping, crocheting, knitting, and playing Domino's and Pinochle with her sisters and brother. She is survived by her six children, Henry (Eileen) Richie, Russell (Carol) Richie, Sandra (Stephen) Ulik, Linda (Robert) Helgesen, Randy (Connie) Richie and Tim (Joy) Richie; one brother and four sisters, Robert Huck, Elaine Goergen, Marion Flex, Joyce Lupi, and Shirley Burman; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren.   • Maggie Rose Proko, 85, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 7, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 5, 1927 in Green Bay, WI, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucille (Williquette) Ullmer. She graduated from Green Bay West High School. On June 8, 1949, she married John Anthony Proko at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Duck Creek, WI. In 1953 they moved to West Allis and then in 1962 they moved to Kenosha making it their home. Maggie was employed as a telephone operator in Green Bay, WI, and she later volunteered at the old St. Catherine’s Hospital gift shop. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Kenosha Catholic Women’s Club. Maggie was a past member of St. Catherine’s Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary where she served as the director of the gift shop for many years. Maggie enjoyed playing bridge. She had played in many different clubs, the most notable being the St. James Round Robin Bridge Club and “The Condo Bridge Club”. She also enjoyed spending time “up north” at their cottage in Waupaca with her family. Frank enjoyed playing the violin and played with McKinley Junior High, Bradford High School and the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra. He enjoyed bowling, an avid Chicago Cubs Fan, Green Bay Packer Fan. He enjoyed visiting local restaurants for coffee and visiting among friends.   • Jo Ann Medley, 64, of Kenosha, died on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at her home. She was born June 3, 1953, in Portsmouth, OH. Jo Ann was the wife, life partner, and steadfast friend to her husband; a great mother and supporter to her children, and a tireless proponent for the underserved in society. She was a registered nurse; whose greatest professional happiness came from her work with those incarcerated within the Kenosha correctional system. At one point in her life, she served on the School Board for the Kenosha Unified School District and acted as President of that organization during much of her tenure. Her primary focus was always the improvement of the system and the welfare of every student. She was, in short, a fighter for those who are unable to do so themselves. Jo Ann loved the ocean and all things tropical. Her favorite place in this world was the Florida Keys. So, of course, she was a Parrothead! Her love for all things Jimmy Buffett never wavered over the decades. From now on, the grace of dolphins swimming, the meandering of manatees, and the stately flights of pelicans should serve as reminders of Jo Ann for all who truly knew her. Surpassing all things, Jo Ann was a mother. Her fierce love for her daughter and son knew no bounds. She was, and will forever be, their number one fan.
